How to use Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)
- Mirror/reverse your image on the design program on your computer
- Load HTV into your vinyl cutter with the shiny side down
- Weed the excess HTV off your design
- Align your image onto your surface and press using the recommended heating instructions for your style of HTV which you can find below
- Peel clear backing sheet off
Please do not wash OR dry for 24 hours after pressing to maximise longevity.
CLASSIC, GLITTER, GLOW IN THE DARK & SUPER SOFT VINYL RECOMMENDATIONS-:
Temperature:
Preheat your heat press to 150°C.
Pressure:
Apply Firm pressure.
Time:
Heat for 15 seconds. Ensure even heat distribution across the design.
Peeling:
Once pressed, allow the HTV to cool slightly but remain warm to the touch.
Carefully peel the carrier sheet while warm, ensuring the design adheres fully to the fabric.
This product is designed to "melt" right into the fabric your printing on, once the vinyl has been pressed correctly it will give the appearance that it has been screen printed onto the garment.
Classic vinyl can with stand both washing and drying.
These settings are a guide and can vary between machines and heat presses.
